Stars & paying
What are Stars?
Stars are your prepaid training credit. You top up in the app and spend stars on sessions at any partner gym. The rate is fixed and never changes: 1 ✦ = 10 EGP.
How much does a session cost?
Each gym sets its session price in whole stars, and it varies by time of day — off-peak hours cost fewer stars than peak hours. You always see the exact price for the current slot in the app before you go.
How do I pay?
You top up stars securely by card inside the app. At the gym itself there's nothing to pay — no cash, no card — your stars cover the session.
Do my stars expire?
Stars you buy stay yours. Promotional or company-gifted stars can carry an expiry date — if they do, the app shows it clearly next to them.
Can I cash out or transfer stars?
No — stars are prepaid service credit for training, not money. They can't be withdrawn or sent to someone else.
Going to the gym
Do I need to book ahead?
No. Freeweight is walk-in: your entry is valid for the current time slot at the gym you choose. The app shows upcoming slots and their prices so you can plan, but you check in when you're actually there.
How does check-in work?
Open your pass in the app and reception scans your QR code. It's secure, refreshes automatically, and your stars are charged only when the scan is confirmed — never before.
Which gyms can I enter?
Any partner gym shown in your app, during its open hours. Some gyms are ladies-only or men-only — the app only shows you gyms and slots you can actually enter.
What if the gym is full?
Each time slot has a set number of Freeweight spots. The app shows availability for the current slot, so if a slot is full you'll see it before heading out.

Free weights are the most honest equipment in the gym — no machine, no fixed path, just you and the iron. Freeweight is that idea applied to your whole city: no contract, no fixed gym. Train when the moment's right.
How do I sign up?
With your Egyptian mobile number — we text you a code, you're in. No passwords to remember.
Where is Freeweight available?
Cairo — premium gyms across the city, with new areas added all the time. The app shows every gym near you.
